Project Duration: January 2012 - January 2015.
This project aims to identify sustainable electricity options for Turkey. This will be achieved by developing a methodology for assessing the sustainability of current and future electricity-generating options in Turkey. These will be assessed on technical, environmental, economical and social aspects using life cycle assessment, life cycle costing as well as suitable social indicators. Different electricity scenarios will be considered up to 2050.
