Project Overview

The GreenPREG project aims to develop a production process for a novel type of Fibre Reinforced Plastics (FRP) with significantly increased recyclability and lower environmental impacts compared to traditional FRP and other alternative materials. The Sustainable Industrial Systems group will carry out a life cycle sustainability assessment to estimate the potential environmental and economic savings from the new products and technologies being developed by the project.
