Project Overview

The aim of this project is to evaluate the sustainability assessment of various negative emissions technologies (NETs) as part of the efforts to combat global climate crisis which include bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS), biochar for soil amendment, enhanced weathering, ocean fertilisation and building with biomass. The environmental and economic sustainability of these technologies will be conducted using a life cycle approach and their suitability for deployments in Malaysia will be evaluated.
